Frances was born December 12, 1923, in Seneca County to Gilbert and Ella F. (Barton) Rice. October 12, 1946, she married Albert Lepouttre at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Republic and he died in 1998.
Survivors include a son, Thomas (Cindy) Lepouttre of Cleveland; two grandchildren, Ethan Lepouttre and Kyle Parrigan, a sister-in-law, Lucille Rice of Tiffin, plus many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two brothers, Carl and Robert Rice and a sister, Evelyn Lee.
Frances was a Tiffin Columbian graduate, a homemaker and a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, February 28, 2014, at the Traunero Funeral Home and Crematory, 214 S. Monroe Street, Tiffin, OH 44883, 419-447-3113, with a Wake service at 5:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Prayers will be said at 10 a.m., Saturday, March 1, 2014, at the funeral home, followed by the Mass at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church officiated by the Rev. Gary Walters. The rosary will be recited 20 minutes prior to the Mass at the church. Burial will follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church or to Habitat for Humanity in care of the funeral home.
