Fern D. Davis, age 86, formerly of Gail Lane, Tiffin and Lehigh Acres, FL, died at 8:04 am Saturday, June 5, 2010, at St. Francis Home.
She was born December 7, 1923, in Byrle, W. Va., to the late Evert R. and Mary J. (Knott) Weese. She married Joseph Davis, Jr. in 1944, and he preceded her in death July 5, 2000.
Survivors include three sons, Tim (Jane) Davis of Tiffin, Mark (Sue) Davis of Harker Heights, Tex., and Jody (Adela) Davis of Lehigh Acres, Fla.; five grandchildren, Sterling, Whitney, Kioko, Jehbriel, and Indiana Davis; and a sister, Georgia Goza of Morgantown, W. Va.
She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Lila Wickline, her twin Forrest Shelton, and Ella Ray Bates; and a brother, Boyd Weese.
Mrs. Davis was a graduate of Morgantown High School and was a homemaker.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, August 14, 2010 at St. Francis Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Fairmont Cemetery. Friends may call one half hour prior to the service at St. Francis Home.
