Evelyn Lucille Drinkwater, 85, of 78 Grace Street, Tiffin, died at 7:00 p.m. at her residence on Wednesday, July 2, 2003. She was born on December 10, 1917 in West Lodi, Ohio, to Claude and Maude (Haffinger) Hoover. On January 22, 1955 she married James Drinkwater. He died on June 26, 1980.
She was survived by three nephews, Gene (Pat) Sherer, Lanny (Judy) Sherer, and John (Sherri) Sherer, all of Tiffin, and a sister-in-law, Yvonne Chester, of Tiffin.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Hoover.
Mrs. Drinkwater was a 1936 Republic High School graduate and worked as a homemaker.
Burial will take place at Fairmont Cemetery and contributions may be made to the Seneca County Humane Society, in lieu of flowers.
