Eugene H. Brickner, 68, of S. SR 53, Tiffin, Ohio died at 10:45 a.m. Sunday, March 26, 2006 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio. He was born October 12, 1937 in Fostoria to the late Robert and Agnes (Flannagan) Brickner.
He is survived by 5 sons; Bernie (Shelly) Brickner of Fairfield, OH; Martin (Jeni) Brickner of Temperance, MI; Frank (Jackie) Brickner of Tiffin, Ben (Jenny) Brickner of Tiffin, and Nick Brickner of Bradner, OH.; a daughter Susan (Mike) Reaser of LasVegas, NV, 13 grandchildren; Rob & Eric Brickner, Tristan, Ethan, and Nolan Brickner, Joe, Katherine and Luke Brickner, Nicole and Tyler Brickner, Erik and Morgan Brickner, Jason Reaser, and a brother Robert (Martha) Brickner of Green Valley, AZ.
Mr. Brickner was a graduate of St. Wendelin High School, Fostoria, and a member of All Saints Parish in Frenchtown, OH. He retired after 30 years as a Fostoria Postal Carrier and lived on a small farm. He was a gun collector and enjoyed fishing and being outdoors.
A funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday March 31, 2006 All Saints Parish, St. Nicholas Chapel, Frenchtown with Father Ron Schock officiating.
Burial will be immediately following in St. Nicholas Catholic Cemetery. There will be a wake service on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. The Rosary will be recited 15 minutes prior to the Mass at the church.
