Erin Marie Emerine, age 25, of Nectar Lane, Columbus, Ohio died Tuesday morning, September 20, 2005 at her residence. She was born April 23, 1980, in Tiffin, Ohio to Dennis and Janet (Clouse) Emerine who survive in New Riegel, Ohio.
Other survivors include two sisters, Jennifer (Robert) Dorado of Columbus and Kimberly (Harlan) Howard of Detroit, Michigan; a paternal grandmother, Luella Emerine of Fostoria, many aunts, uncles and cousins. She is predeceased by a paternal grandfather, Paul Emerine, maternal grandparents Alvin and Bessie Clouse.
Ms. Emerine was a 1998 New Riegel High School graduate and a 2001 Eastern Michigan University graduate. She worked for the Ohio Board of Regents as an administrator of college access information. She worked in the section of state grants and scholarships.
She was a member of the Board of Columbus Habitat for Humanity in it’s home selection committee, she belonged to Women’s Leadership for Education. She was an avid runner and loved to travel. Erin was a supporter of the Scleroderma Research Foundation.
Rev. Ron Schock will officiate the Funeral Mass with burial immediately following the Mass in St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery, New Riegel, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to Scleroderma Research Foundation, Habitat for Humanity, Downs Syndrome Foundation, or
Women’s Leadership for Education Fund.
