Elizabeth Ann Lucius, age 84 of W. CR 592, Fostoria, Ohio died 8: 20 P.M. Thursday, February 12, 2004 in St. Vincent-Mercy Medical Hospital, Toledo, Ohio. She was born on August 5, 1919 in Bascom, Ohio to Frank and Florence (Sheeter) Kleinfelter. They do not survive. On May 24, 1941 in St. Patrick Catholic Church, Bascom, she married Leo Charles Lucius. He survives.
Also surviving are 2 sons, Larry J. Lucius of Fostoria; David Leo (Mary Jane) Lucius of Tiffin; 5 daughters, Rose Ann (James) Kessler of New Riegel; Janet M. Lucius of Columbus; Mary Lucius of Oak Harbor, Karen Lucius of Curtice; and Brenda Lucius of Tiffin; 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She is preceded by an infant daughter, 1 grandson, Tony Kessler and 4 brothers, Ralph, Joseph, Marion and Arthur Kleinfelter.
Mrs. Lucius was a homemaker, a member of St. Andrew’s Catholic Church, Liberty Township where she was a communion distributor, a past officier of the Rosary Alter Society and she enjoyed her family, quilting, gardening crocheting and sewing.
Rev. Art Newiadomski is officiating the Funeral Mass. Burial will take place immediately following the Mass in St. Andrew’s Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Monday, February 16, 2004 from 2-4 & 6-9 P.M.and until 9:45 a.m. on Tuesday at Hannay-Traunero Funeral Home, 214 S. Monroe Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883 (419) 447-3113. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice in care of the funeral home.
