Elizabeth Agnes Reamer, age 75, of Ann Street, Tiffin, Ohio died at 10:20 am Monday, March 03, 2008 at Ohio State University Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio. She was born on December 1, 1932 in Tiffin to the late George and Elizabeth (Dowdell) Schumm.
On September 25, 1954 in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin, she married Victor A. Reamer and he survives.
Other survivors include her children, Nancy (David) Dysard of Toledo; Stephen (Deb) Reamer of Tiffin; Lawrence (Dawn Casler) Reamer of Canal Winchester; Mark (Deb) Reamer of Tiffin; Dennis Reamer of Tiffin; Brian Reamer of Tiffin; Dave (Rebecca) Reamer of Toledo; Lisa Reamer of Columbus; 20 grandchildren, Andrew, Kathryn, Phillip and Thomas Dysard, Joe, Sami, Andrea, Nicki, Dan, Kiele, Andy, Alex, Rachel, Hayden, Bernadette, Victoria, Xavier, Bart, Vincent, Celeste Reamer; three brothers, Robert (Pat) Schumm of Fremont; Donald (Charlotte) Schumm of Tiffin; Thomas (Annie) Schumm of Tiffin; and a sister, Mary Scherger of Tiffin.
She is preceded in death by two brothers, Harold and James Schumm.
Elizabeth graduated from Calvert High school, class of 1950. She was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church; the Josephine’s, she volunteered at St. Joseph Library, was a member of the Women’s Choir at church and was an active election poll worker.
Lizzy loved spending time with her grandchildren, attending their sporting events, and especially holding the babies. She looked forward to the annual Reamer family Camp-O-Rama. She enjoyed sewing, knitting and her bus trips to the casinos with “Grandpa”.
The Funeral Mass will be 12:00 pm (Noon) Saturday, March 8, 2008 in St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating. The Rosary will be recited 15 minutes prior to the Mass. Burial will take place immediately following in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
Family and friends may visit from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Friday, March 7, 2008 at Traunero Funeral Home, 214 S. Monroe Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883 (419) 447-3113. There will be a Wake Service at 4:00 pm Friday at the funeral home.
