Eileen E. Loose, age 85, of Elizabeth Schaefer Apartments, Tiffin, died at 12:52 am Saturday, April 25, 2009, at St. Francis Home, Tiffin.
She was born October 9, 1923, in Tiffin, to the late Elmer and Anna (Koepfer) Holman. She married Donald Loose in 1945 in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin. He died in 1984.
Survivors include a sister, Irma Kneedler of Tiffin, and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Carl, Earl, Sharon, and Curtis Holman, and two sisters, Mary Buccione and Vita Wagner.
Mrs. Loose was a retired glass cutter, having worked 42 years at US Glass Cutting, Tiffin. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin, and its Rosary Altar Society, the American Legion Auxiliary, and the Senior Citizens.
Funeral services will be 10 am Monday, April 27, 2009, at Traunero Funeral Home, 214 S. Monroe St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883 (419)447-3113, with burial following in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
