Duane Albert Goshe, 80, of Tiffin, died at 8:15 a.m. Friday, April 29, 2022, at St. Francis Home, Tiffin.
He was born December 26, 1941, in Alvada to Linus P. and Margaret S. (Kessler) Goshe.
Survivors include three brothers, Ronald Goshe of Arlington, Charles Goshe and Eugene Goshe, both of Tiffin; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Linus Goshe, Jr., and a sister, Joan Goshe-Fox.
Duane was a 1959 Mohawk High School graduate. In the 1960s and 1970s, Duane and his brother traveled to many different locations around the world. He enjoyed trips to the Canary Islands, Barbados, Jamaica, as well as Mexico, Portugal, Thailand, Japan, and northern Africa. He retired as a machinist at National Machinery. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Quarter Century Club, Seneca County Coon Hunters Club, and he followed Bette’s Polka Band for many years.
Visitation for family and friends will be 9:30 -10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 3, 2022, at Traunero Funeral Home and Crematory, 214 S. Monroe Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883 (419) 447-3113. The funeral Mass will immediately follow at 11 a.m. Tuesday, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin. Rev. Joseph Szybka will officiate, and burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
