She was born November 26, 1934, in Tiffin, to John V. and Irene (Ward) Albert.
Survivors include a son, Robert A. Smith of Tiffin; a son-in-law, Robert Burger of Tiffin; two grandchildren, Kimberly Jean Burger and Eric Joseph Burger; and a brother, Henry R. Albert of Tiffin.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Valerie Burger; a daughter-in-law, Jane Smith; four brothers, Carl, Donald, Jack, and Louis Albert; and three sisters, Eleanora Dedrick, Mildred DeNardo, and Betty Mae Albert.
Mrs. Smith was a 1952 graduate of Columbian High School. She worked at General Electric Co., and she later retired from Fostoria Industries.
Private burial will be in Seneca Memory Gardens. There will be no visitation.
