Dorothy Arlene Dundore, 89, of Tiffin, died at 8:04 p.m. Friday, March 10, 2017, at St. Francis Home. She was born Jan. 10, 1928, in Seneca County to Charles W. and Gladys I. (Zeiter) Sager. She married Charles Paul Dundore, Nov. 13, 1948, at the Washington Street United Methodist Church parsonage, Tiffin and he survives.
Other survivors include a son, Gary Charles (Jan) Dundore of Tiffin; a daughter, Sharon Kay (Jeff) Wadelin of Bartlett, Illinois; five grandchildren, Kristine N. (Scott) Gottfried, Charles Gary Dundore both of Tiffin, Matthew (Meaghan) Wadelin, Christopher (Erin Emley, fiancée) Wadelin, and Colin Wadelin all of Illinois; and six great-grandchildren, Trent Dundore, Austin Gottfried, Hunter Gottfried, Reece Gottfried all of Tiffin, Elizabeth Wadelin and Scarlett Wadelin both of Illinois.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Harold and Gene Sager.
Dot was a retired secretary for Dundore Plumbing and Heating Company and a homemaker. She was a member of the Tiffin Women’s Club and the Faith United Methodist Church and its choir.
Visitation for family and friends will be 10 a.m. – noon Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at Faith United Methodist Church, Tiffin, followed by the funeral service at noon with Rev. Jeff Lanzer officiating. Burial will take place immediately following in Greenlawn Cemetery.
