Doris J. (Albrecht) Wolf

Doris J. Wolf, 96, of Copley, died at 5:05 pm Thursday, May 10, 2018, at Elmwood at the Shawhan, Tiffin.

Doris was born May 16, 1921, in Akron to Henry T. and Gertrude F. (Ball) Albrecht. She married Charles Glenn Wolf September 2, 1946, in Akron and he died January 1, 2015.

Survivors include three sons, Charles (Peggy) Wolf of Tiffin, Bill (Sarah Baskurt) Wolf of Spokane, Wash., and Jack (Kim) Wolf of Lakeville, Minn.; six grandchildren, Chris Jr., Jenny, Katie, Chelsea, Alex, Adam; three great-grandchildren, Charlie, Reese, Aubrey;  and a brother, Don (Mary) Albrecht.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a brother, Gerald Albrecht.

Doris graduated from Buchtel High School, Akron. She was a housewife, a member of the Copley Historical Society, the Copley Heritage Day Committee, Stan Hywet-Hall and Guardian Angels Catholic Church in Copley.  Doris was a very social person, she enjoyed doing cross-stitch, needlepoint and spending time with her family.

Funeral Mass will be 11:00 am Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, Copley with burial to follow in Copley Cemetery. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the Mass.
