Donn D. Williams, 55, of CR 90, Tiffin, OH died at 2:57 a.m., Tuesday, July 18, 2006 at his residence. He was born May 10, 1951 in Bellevue, OH to John and Anna (Bartl) Williams. On August 12, 1988 in his home he married Lou Ann Crawford and she survives.
He is also survived by his mother, Anna Williams of Bellevue, 2 daughters Laurie Blodgett and Angela Williams both of Tiffin, a step-daughter, Monica (Ryan) Price of Republic, a step-son Scott (Angie) Thompson of Norwich, 4 grandchildren; Derec Blodgett, Kaileigh and Kylen Coopshaw & Brady Thompson, 3 brothers; Kenneth Williams of Bellevue, George Williams of Attica, Michael Williams of Tiffin, 3 sisters; Kathy Goosetree of Norwalk, Barbara Rheinhart of Bellevue, Mary Ianello of Bellevue.
He was preceded in death by his father, John; a brother John Jr.; grandparents Donn & Olive Williams; and George and Katherine Bartl; and 2 nephews.
Mr. Williams was a 1969 graduate of Attica High School. In January of 2005 he retired from Clyde Whirlpool after 20 years where he worked as a repairman. He had previously worked at GE for 13 years. He was member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Tiffin. His hobbies and interest included woodworking, photography, fishing, artifact hunting and spending time playing with his grandchildren.
Rev. John M. Nagele, C.PP.S, will conduct a Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 21, 2006 at St. Gaspar del Bufalo Parish in Marywood. Burial will take place in Reed Assumption Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Thursday, July 20, 2006 at Traunero Funeral Home, 214 S. Monroe Street, Tiffin, OH 44883 (419) 447-3113. A Rosary service will be conducted at 7:45 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
