Donna Jean (Digby) Bour

Donna Jean Bour, 90, of Tiffin, died at 1:49 am Sunday, May 16, 2021, at her residence.

She was born November 12, 1930, in Tiffin, to Mearl and Mildred G. (Baum) Digby.  She married James E. Bour July 17, 1948, in St. Joseph Catholic Church, and he died May 11, 2015.

Survivors include five sons, Daniel E.  Bour of Thailand, Laurence E. (Dodie) Bour, Thomas A. Bour both of Tiffin, James J. (Linda) Bour of  Willard, Ronald S. Bour of Melmore; six daughters, Dianne M. Smith, Deborah A. (Michael) Schoen, Theresa J. (Kent) Hoffman all of Tiffin, Mary A. (Chris) Capitola of Cedar City, Utah., Sue (Bob) Gahris of Mesa, Ariz., Angela Getz of Canton; 28 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Kenneth E. Digby of Fayetteville, NC, and George (Linda) Digby of Findlay;

She was preceded in death by a brother, William Digby, a sister Bessie Karle,
a granddaughter, Jamie Lynn Hoffman, and she is preceded by three great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Bour retired as a supervisor in food service at Mercy Tiffin Hospital.  She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, and enjoyed playing Bingo and going to the casinos.  She enjoyed game nights with her Friday Night girls.  She volunteered at Mercy Health-Tiffin Hospital, a member of the Red Hats, Moose, and enjoyed traveling with her best friend, Mary Jane Fox.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 19, 2021, at Traunero Funeral Home and Crematory, 214 S. Monroe St., Tiffin, Ohio  44883 (419)447-3113.  A wake service will be at 3:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Prayers will be said at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, May 20, 2021, at the funeral home, followed by the funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating.  Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.  The Rosary will be recited 30 minutes prior to Mass at the church.  The Mass will be live-streamed at www.tiffinstjoseph.org, or on the funeral home website.
