Donald Wayne Lynch, 53, of Duchess Court, Tiffin, Ohio died as a result of an industrial accident at 6:50 p.m., Wednesday, August 16, 2006 in North Baltimore, Ohio. Donald was born on July 26, 1953 in Kansas City, MO to Fredrick and Minnie (Beckley) Lynch.
On March 29, 1974 at Our Lady of Consolation in Carey, OH he married Lynn Caseman, daughter of Bernard and Jeanette (Jerwers) Caseman and she survives. Other survivors include his parents who live in Carey, OH, his children; Mr. & Mrs. Jeremey (Jennifer) Lynch of Toledo, Mr. & Mrs. Jamie (Shaylyn) Lynch of Dalton, OH, Mr. & Mrs. Justin (Summir) Lynch of Perrysburg, a grandson, Joshua Lynch of Toledo, and a brother David Lynch of Carey.
He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Gerald Caseman and father-in-law Bernard Caseman.
Donald, a 1971 graduate of Carey High School, attended Tiffin University then graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Engineering from Ohio State University. He started his career at Porcelain Products in Carey before he moved to the Budd Company (Continental Structural Plastics) where he worked for thirty three years as a Project/Launch Engineer.
Donald was an active bowler with the K of C’s of Tiffin. He was extremely proud of his family and especially loved spending time with his grandson. One of Donald’s favorite activities was sun-bathing by the pool with a good book and listening to a Jimmy Buffet CD or a NASCAR race in the background.
Rev. James K. Say will officiate the Funeral Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 21, 2006. Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 on Sunday, August 20, 2006 at Traunero Funeral Home, 214 S. Monroe Street, Tiffin, OH 44883 (419) 447-3113. A Rosary service will be held at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home conducted by the Knights of Columbus.
