Donald L. Seislove, age 79 years, of Hudson Street, Tiffin, Ohio, died at 1:55 P.M. Monday, March 28, 2005 in St. Francis Home, Tiffin. He was born April 28, 1925 to Louis and Clara (Fey) Seislove, in Tiffin. On August 4, 1944, he married Vivian Dayton in St. Mary’s Rectory, Tiffin.. She survives.
Other survivors include 6 daughters, Mary Lou (Richard) Gase of Tiffin, Ohio ; Diane (Frank) Kelso of Sun City West, Arizona; Patricia Seislove of Tiffin, Ohio ; Carolyn (Dave) Miller of Tiffin, Ohio ; and Marilyn Seislove of Tiffin, Ohio ; 10 Grandchildren; 9 Great Grandchildren; and 2 brothers, Richard Seislove and Kenneth Seislove both of Tiffin, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 son, Thomas Joseph Seislove; 1 daughter, Joan Elizabeth Seislove; 3 brothers, Ralph, Howard and Wayne Seislove; 2 sisters, Dorothy Black and Helen Payment; and 1 great grandchild, Loren Kay Gase.
Mr. Seislove was a 1943 graduate of Calvert High School. He was a member of the United States Army Air Corps from 1943 to 1946. He had retired in 1985 as a truck driver for Sohio. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, and the Moose Lodge of Tiffin.
Burial will take place immediately following the Memorial Mass in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery. The United Veteran’s Council of Seneca County will perform Military rites at the grave.
