Donald L. Kleinhenz, age 81, of Clinton Avenue, Tiffin, Ohio, died at 5:37 pm Saturday, December 8, 2007 in Mercy Hospital, Tiffin. He was born on September 17, 1926 in Niles, Ohio to the late Louis J. and Anna M. (Hamm) Kleinhenz.
Survivors include a sister, Doris (James) Ricker of Tiffin, two nieces Janis (Ray) Weasner, Sandy (Conrad) Hufford; two nephews Dr. James (Sue) B. Ricker, Wayne (Maggie) Shellhouse; four great nieces, Robyn (Tyler) Wight, Jessie Weasner, Trisha Mannick and Janine Ricker; three great nephews David Ricker, Aaron (Sarah) Shellhouse and Matt Weasner; five great great nieces Erica Tracy, Jordan Tracy, McKenna Shellhouse, Peyton Shellhouse, Quinn Shellhouse; and one great great nephew, Cameron Wight
He is preceded in death by a sister, Juanita Shellhouse.
Mr. Kleinhenz was a 1944 Columbian High School graduate. He spend 10 years as the chief cook for the merchant marines, he also worked at the Seneca County Court House. Donald was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Tiffin. He was a talented cartoonist, an avid roller skater and a classic movie buff.
There will be a graveside service at 11:30 am Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at Fairmont Cemetery, Tiffin with Rev. Richard Mahlmann officiating.
