Diana L. Barrett, 66, of Tiffin, died at 11:23 pm Saturday, September 21, 2019, at the Cleveland Clinic surrounded by her loving family.
Diana was born February 13, 1953, in Tiffin, to Gaylord and Velma (Perrine) Firestone. She married Donald W. Barrett June 29, 2012, and he survives in Tiffin.
Other Survivors include her children, Stephanie (Robb) Pachlhofer of Fostoria, Jared (Jennie) Shultz of Tiffin, Shelby Monaco of Tiffin; seven grandchildren, Cody (Marissa) Pachlhofer, Hunter Pachlhofer, Morgyn Pachlhofer, Jett Pachlhofer, Hadley Pachlhofer, Maddison Shultz, Stella Shultz; two great grandchildren, Paisley Pachlhofer, Brantley Pachlhofer; three brothers, Tony (Kim) Firestone of Tiffin, Steve (Bridgette) Firestone of Georgia, John (Rhonda) Firestone of Findlay; six sisters, Christine (Tom) Fourtner of Bloomville, Linda (Carl) Hodge of New Riegel, Roxanne Askam of Tiffin, Robin Surface of Missouri, Pam (Robby) Baker of Tiffin, Bridget Shaull of Findlay.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Diana was a 1971 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School, a 1993 graduate of Ehove Career Center at the top of her class. She retired in 2017 as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Elmwood at the Shawhan, Good Shepherd Home and St. Francis Home. One of her greatest inspirations was her maternal grandmother, Stella Perrine. Diana attended the New Beginnings Assembly of God Church and enjoyed reading and spending time with her family. She was also an avid Cleveland Indians fan.
Visitation for family and friends will be 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Thursday, September 26, 2019, at the Traunero Funeral Home and Crematory, 214 S. Monroe Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419)-447-3113.
Her funeral will be 10:00 am, Friday, September 27, 2019, at New Beginnings Assembly of God Church with Rev. Rex King, officiating. Burial will be at a later date at Greenlawn Cemetery.
