Dennis M. Clouse, 47, of Tiffin, died at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, in Toledo, on September 13, 2000. He was born to Luke G. and Carolyn M. (Mang) Clouse on April 5, 1953 in Tiffin. They survive in Tiffin. On November 16, 1974 at St. Mary Catholic Church, he married Bernadine Bell. She survives in Tiffin.
Other survivors include, a son, Travis L. Clouse; a daughter Mrs. Devon (Amy) L. Gillig; 2 grandchildren, Megan and Luke Gillig; three brothers, Jim E., Tim L., and Phillip G. Clouse; and four sisters, Mrs. Dave (Linda) Otte, Mrs. Steve (Cathleen) Painter, Mrs. Mike (Lori) Huth, and Mrs. Steffan (Mary Beth) Ziegler.
He was preceded by two nephews, Cody and Cheyenne Clouse and a brother-in-law, Mark A. Bell.
He was a 1971 graduate of Hopewell-Loudon. He had been a Machine Laborer at Sonoco for 8 years. He had also been equipment operator at Basic Refractories for 12 years and Mercy Hospital. He was a member of Christ's Church of Tiffin and has been baseball coach for McCutchenville Leagues, President of McCutchenville Baseball League and a member of the McCutchenville Fire Department.
Burial will take place immediately following the funeral service at Fairmont Cemetery.
