David Ray Boucher, 61, of Tiffin, Ohio died at 7:45 a.m. Friday, August 26, 2005, at his residence. He was born September 17, 1943 in Marion, to Ray E. and Thelma (Riley) Boucher, and his mother survives in Upper Sandusky. He married Merilee Marshall, February 1, 1964, at First Lutheran Church, Tiffin and she survives.
Other survivors include three sons, David (Fran) Boucher, Jr. of Forest, Ohio, Jon Paul (Kim) Boucher and Matthew (Jennifer) Boucher both of Sycamore, Ohio; four grandsons, Allen, Brandon, Brock and Owen Boucher; and a brother, Paul (Terry) Boucher of Wharton, Ohio.
He is preceded in death by his father and grandparents, Harmon and Lola Boucher, Arthur and Bessie Riley.
David was a 1961 Upper Sandusky High School graduate. He served in the United States Air Force, in Vietnam during 1961 – 1969. He retired May 2002, after 32 years as a delivery driver for Nickles Bakery. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin, a lifetime member of the V.F.W. the AmVets, and the Knights of Columbus.
Visitation for family and friends will be 2-4 & 6-8 Sunday, August 28, 2005, at Traunero Funeral Home and Crematory, 214 S. Monroe Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883 (419) 447-3113 with a wake service at 7:45 p.m. at the funeral home.
Prayers will be said at 10:30 a.m. Monday, August 29, 2005, at the funeral home followed by the Mass at 11: 00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Rev. Timothy Ferris will officiate. The rosary will be recited 15 minutes prior to the Mass at the church. Burial will take place immediately following in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. A military service will be held at the gravesite.
