Danny L. Dornan, age 61, of 145 E. Southern Ave. Bucyrus, died at 1:05 P.M. Tuesday, June 18, 2002 in Bucyrus Community Hospital, Bucyrus, Ohio.
He was born Dec. 29, 1940, in Tiffin, to Clayton L. and Dolores (Rumschlag) Dornan. His father passed away Dec. 21, 1978. His mother survives in Tiffin.
Other survivors include: a brother, Terry E. (Marilyn) Dornan of Garden City, MI, and a sister, Joan L. (Thomas) Funkhouser of Toledo. He was an uncle to 4 nephews and 4 nieces: Allan Funkhouser, Keith Funkhouser, Matt Dornan, Jesse Dornan, Alicia Distel, Karen Miller, Cheryl Shoo and Andrea Foley; and a great-uncle to 5 great-nephews and 10 great-nieces. Danny was so proud of all of his nephews and nieces. A brother, Baby Dornan is deceased.
Mr. Dornan, an assembler at Waycraft Industires, was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Tiffin. He resided in the Broken Arrow Group Home. Danny always looked forward to his home visits. Going to the Seneca County Fair in the summer was his greatest joy.
There will be a wake service at 3:45, Thursday, June 20, 2002 at the Funeral Home. The rosary will be recited 15 minutes prior to the Funeral Mass at the church. Burial will be in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church or the School of Opportunity, in care of Hannay-Traunero Funeral Home.
