Cynthia Alice Brown, age 35, of 37 N. Perry Street, New Riegel, Ohio died at 4:15 p.m. Friday, January 16, 2004 in Mercy Hospital’s Emergency Room. She was born to Martin and Clara (Kimmet) Welly on June 19, 1968 in Tiffin. Her parents survive in New Riegel. She married Ronald Brown on August 6, 1988 in St. Boniface Catholic Church, New Riegel. He survives.
Other survivors include, 3 sons, Daniel Brown, Matthew Brown, and Joseph Brown; 1 daughter, Jamie Brown all at home; 2 sisters, Catherine (Dan) Spero and Carol (Jim) Snyder both of New Riegel; 3 brothers, Michael Welly of Dayton, Ohio; Mark (Wendy) Welly; and Marvin (Kristin) Welly both of New Riegel.
She is preceded by an infant sister, Christena Welly; paternal grandparents, Jacob and Mary Ann Welly; and maternal grandparents, A.M. and Bertha Kimmet.
Mrs. Brown was a 1986 New Riegel High School graduate, she received her Registered Nursing degree from Marion Technical College in 1988, and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2001 from Lourdes College in Sylvania, Ohio.
Mrs. Brown was the Director of Nursing at the Heritage Manor Nursing Home, in Findlay; she was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, and the Association of Rehab Nurses.
There will be a wake service at 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home on Monday, January 19, 2004. The Rosary will be recited 15 minutes prior to the Funeral Mass at the Church.
The Mass will be officiated by Rev. David Reinhart. Burial will take place immediately following the Mass in St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery.
