Constance "Connie" Fletcher Rigby, age 87, of Beechwood Drive, Tiffin, Ohio, died September 29, 2001. She was born to Edward and Florence (Fletcher) Wainwright on March 18, 1914 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She married Albert E. Rigby on April 25, 1942 in Indiantown Gap, Pa. He died on March 17, 1993.
Survivors include, 2 sons, Dennis Rigby, and Rodger Rigby; 1 step-son Jerry A. Rigby; 5 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and 1 brother, Herbert C. Wainwright.
Mrs. Rigby was a member of Old Trinity Espiscopal church, Tiffin, and a former member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Fremont; she was a charter member of the VFW Auxiliary for Women in Greensprings. Mrs. Rigby retired as a proofreader at the Advertiser-Tribune, and also at the Echo Press of Greensprings, Ohio.
Burial will take place immediately following the funeral service in Greenlawn Memory Gardens, Clyde. Contributions may be made to Old Trinity Episcopal Church, Tiffin.
