Clifford W. Sheeley, 99 years, formerly of W. Davis Street, died 12:20 PM, Tuesday, April 12, 2005 in St. Francis Home, Tiffin. On October 27, 1905 he was born to Peter and Theresa
(Engemann) Sheeley in Putnam County. On June 10, 1939 he married Vera T. Michaels in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Tiffin. She died on March 17, 2000.
Other survivors include a daughter, Ruth (Dean) Schaffer of Monroeville, Ohio; a daughter-in-law, Jean Sheeley of Fostoria, Ohio; three grandchildren, Michael, Joanne, and Daniel Schaffer, two step grandchildren; Randy Frankart and Nancy Fout; two great grandchildren and five step great grandchildren; two brothers: Ferrell (Bud) Sheeley of Toledo and John Sheeley of Upper Sandusky.
He is preceded by his wife, Vera T. Sheeley, one son; Paul Sheeley; two brothers; Don and Louis Sheeley; one sister, Florence Sheeley and one grandson, Kevin Schaffer.
Mr. Sheeley worked for 50 years at Sterling Grinding Wheel Company as a millwright and he
was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.
Rev. Timothy Ferris will officiate the Mass with burial immediately following in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Rosary will be recited 15 minutes prior to the Mass.
