Christine Diana Ranker

Christine Diana Ranker, 64, of Toledo and formerly of Tiffin, died at 3 p.m. November 8, 2022, at Senior Behavioral Hospital, Toledo, Ohio.

She was born October 22, 1958, in Tiffin to George and Mildred Louise (Tyree) Ranker.

Christine is survived by her longtime companion, Gene Gautz of Toledo; two brothers, George (Terri) Ranker, II of Temperance, Michigan, and John (Alma) Ranker of Clearfield, Utah, four sisters,

Linda (Steve) Kramer of Chester, California, Sylvia (Doug) Cavanaugh and Mary (John) Hoyda both of Tiffin, and Charlene Huff of El Paso, Texas; and her golden retriever, Gracie Mae.

he is preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, James Ranker.

Christine graduated from Columbian High School, Tiffin and attended The Ohio State University.  She was a homemaker and was active at the Maumee Senior Center, an avid reader of books and enjoyed painting, she was athletic in her younger years. She was a lover of golden retrievers.  Christine was one of the most beautiful creatures inside and out.  She cared deeply about everyone around her.  She always had a smile on her face.

Visitation for family and friends will be 9 a.m. – 11 a.m.  Friday, November 18, 2022, followed by the funeral service, at 11 a.m. all at Traunero Funeral Home and Crematory, 214 S. Monroe Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883 (419)447-3113.   Burial will take place in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Tiffin.
