Charles William Reinhart, 50, of 53 Lisa Ann Drive, Fremont, died at 3:45 a.m., Monday, June 16, 2003, at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, in Toledo. He was born to Walter J. and Oleta M. (Tiel) Reinhart, May 11, 1953, in Tiffin. His mother survives in Tiffin.
Other survivors include: 2 brothers, Andrew (Julie) Reinhart and Allen (Suzanne) Reinhart, both of Tiffin; 1 sister, Sharon (Todd) Walter, of Columbus; 4 nieces, Ashley and Melissa Reinhart, both of Tiffin; Amanda and Emily Walter, both of Columbus; and 3 nephews, Gregory Reinhart, of Tiffin; Shane and Nicholas Walter, both of Columbus. He was preceded by a sister, Donna M. Colvin, who died in 1990.
Mr. Reinhart worked at Fostoria Food Distributions from 1972-1982 and then Atlas Industries from 1983 until his death. He was a computer programmer. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, in Tiffin, and the Sons of the American Legion Squadron #354, in New Riegel. He enjoyed boating, watching drag racing and spending time at Riverfront Marina.
There will be a Wake Service at 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday during visitation and the Rosary will be recited 15 minutes prior to the funeral Mass at the church. Burial will take place at Seneca Memory Gardens immediately following the funeral Mass.
Contributions may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church or a charity of the donor’s choice, in care of the funeral home.
