Charles Glenn Wolf, 96, of Copley, died at 5:35 am Thursday, January 1, 2015, at Volunteers of America Autumnwood Care Center, Tiffin, Ohio.
He was born July 17, 1918, in Akron, to George Christopher and Emma (Bertele) Wolf. He married Doris J. Albrecht September 2, 1946, in Akron, and she survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Chuck (Peggy) Wolf of Tiffin, Bill (Sarah Baskurt) Wolf of Spokane, Wash., and Jack (Kim) Wolf of Lakeville, Minn.; six grandchildren, two great grandchildren; and a brother, Robert Wolf of Akron.
Mr. Wolf was a graduate of St. Vincent's High School in Akron and also the University of Dayton. He retired after 30 years with General Tire and Rubber Co. of Akron. He was a member of Guardian Angels Catholic Church in Copley, was a past president of the Copley Kiwanis Club, and a member of the Copley Historical Society. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, and fishing.
Funeral Mass will be 11 am Monday, January 5, in Guardian Angels Catholic Church, Copley, with burial following in Copley Cemetery. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the Mass.
