Charles J. Welly, Sr. of 541 N. TR 113, age 74 years, died July 14, 2001 at his residence. He was born to Jacob F. and MaryAnn (Tiell) Welly. He married Viola Ann Reinhart on April 17, 1948 at St. Boniface Catholic Church, New Riegel, Ohio. She survives.

He is preceded by 1 son, Charles J. Welly, Jr, 2 daughters, Jane Welly, and Sarah Welly, 1 granddaughter, Kerry Nichols, and 1 sister Louise Mackling.
Mr. Welly was a retired Machince Operator at Basic, Inc. in Bettsville, Ohio. He was also a retired Farmer. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, the Moose Lodge in Tiffin. He also loved to dance and to go fishing.
Burial will be immediately following the Funeral Mass in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Tiffin, Ohio. Contributions may be made to the Donor's Choice.
