Charles W. Letterhos, age 65, died November 11, 2000. He was born on April 25, 1935 to William H. and Mary Alice (Blandford) Letterhos. He married Donna Ecos on Decmeber 28, 1968 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin. She survives.
Other survivors include, 2 sons, John Letterhos of Charlotte, NC; Joseph Letterhos of Huron, Ohio and 1 daughter, Amy Bores of Clyde, Ohio; and 2 grandchildren. he is receded by 1 brother Joseph Victor Clark, and 1 sister Elva (Clark) Masella.
Mr. Letterhos graduated in 1953 from St. Meinrad High School, 1966 with a BA from Heidelberg and in 1970 & 1973 with a ME from University of Toledo.
He was a teacher at St. Joseph, Tiffin; Port Clinton Jr. High , a Seneca County School Supervisor; Tiffin City Schools and worked Maintenance at Calvert High School. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Holy Name Society; Mens Choir; STRS; 3rd & 4th Degree Knights of Columbus (holding all offices). he enjoyed oil painting; restoring icons; gardening reading and a Notre Dame fan.
Contributions may be made to St. Joseph Church, Calvert Tuition Assistance Fund, K of C Elevator Fund; St. Francis Home; Donor's Choice and St. Joseph School Tuition assistance Fund.
Burial will take place immediately following the Funeral Mass in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
