Catherine L. Riedy, 92, of Tiffin, died at 9:58 p.m. at St. Francis Home on Saturday, January 10, 2004. She was born on August 14, 1911, in Bascom, to the late Charles and Mary (Bowser) Fredritz. On December 3, 1932 she married Albert G. Riedy, in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin. He died on November 6, 1987.
She is survived by two sons, Joseph Riedy of Newport, Michigan, and David (Rita) Riedy of Vancouver, Washington; 8 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren, and a daughter-in-law, Shirley Riedy of Lakewood, Ohio. She was preceded by two sons, John Riedy and Charles Riedy, and one sister, Mildred Lowery.
Mrs. Riedy was a homemaker and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Contributions may be made to Calvert High School or St. Francis Home Chiara Center in care of the funeral home.
Burial will take place in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
