Catherine A. "Katy" McClellan, 65, died at 8:05 a.m. at her residence on April 6, 2001. She was born to Robert P. and Ruth (Riker) Davis on May 10, 1935 in Wilshire, Ohio. On April 13, 1968 she married Herbert McClellan in Shum, Ohio. He survives in Tiffin.
Other survivors include, 1 son, Kenneth Dunmire; 1 stepson, Donald McClellan; 1 daughter, Cheryl Swartz; 2 step-daughters, Christine Markle and Teresa McClellan; five sisters, Winnie Stout, Jean Stanford, Ruth Donovan, Louise Henry, and Rev. Rosemary Swartz; 5 Grandchildren, and 6 Great Grandchildren.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. John's Lutheran in Ohio City, Ohio. She was also a member of the Moose Lodge, a Life Member of Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary and a former member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary.
Burial will take place immediately following the funeral service at Seneca Memory Gardens.
