Carol Ann (Niedermier) Kimmet

Carol Ann Kimmet, 82, of Tiffin, died at 10:15 a.m. Saturday, May 4, 2019, at Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky.  She was born December 9, 1936, in New Washington to Frank and Gertrude (Wurm) Niedermier.  On October 10, 1959, in St. Bernard Catholic Church, New Washington, she married Eugene Kimmet.  He died September 27, 2010.

Survivors include a daughter, Vicki Kimmet of Sycamore, Ohio; a grandson, Britton Kimmet ; two sisters, Freda Coder of New Washington and Jan Horning of Crestline.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother, Kenneth Niedermier and four sisters, Freda, Fern, Marilyn Herman and Joanne Heydinger and her precious dog, Toby.

Carol was a 1955 graduate of New Washington High School.  She was employed at St. Francis Home as an aide and worked also in laundry for about 19 years.  She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.

Visitation will begin at 9:30 am Thursday, May 9, 2019, until time of funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m., at St. Mary Catholic Church.  Rev. Gary Walters will officiate, and burial will follow in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
