Carol Ann “Cookie” (Reinhart) Goetz, 75, of Fostoria, died at 1:45 p.m., Saturday, August 24, 2024, at Autumnwood Care Center, Tiffin surrounded by her family members and friends who deeply loved her. She was born April 23, 1949, in Tiffin to Gerald and Anna (Ward) Reinhart. She married Gary Goetz November 28, 1975, in St. Patrick Catholic Church, Bascom, and he survives.
Other survivors include two daughters, Sara (Chad) Orr of Tiffin and Lori A. (Ryan) Mathia of Luckey; four grandchildren, Andrea and Lauren Orr and Kylie and Alex Mathia; a brother, Mike (Joanne) Reinhart of Tiffin; and two sisters, Marlene Reinhart and Barb (Chris) Hossler, both of Tiffin; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Donna Reinhart.
Carol was a 1967 graduate of Hopewell-Loudon High School. She spent the majority of her career after 25 years working at Gray Printing in Fostoria. She was a faithful member of St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Fostoria and more recently, St. Mary Catholic Church in Tiffin. Carol will be remembered for her endless generosity and unwavering faith. Throughout her life, she remained devoted to her family and God.
Her life was full of rich memories that always included quality time with her family and ‘besties” who never left her side through life’s ups and downs. She especially enjoyed being a spectator at her grandchildren’s activities, playing a good game of euchre and seeking out opportunities to brighten the days of others.

Prayers will be said at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, August 29, 2024, at the funeral home, followed by the funeral Mass at 10 a.m., at St. Mary Catholic Church. The Rosary will be recited 30 minutes prior to Mass. Rev. Matthew Rader will officiate, and burial will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Bascom.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church, Alzheimer’s Assn, or Heartland Hospice.
