Betty Louise Heil

Betty Louise Heil, 91, of Tiffin, died at 5:42 pm Thursday, December 26, 2024, at her residence surrounded by her family. 

Betty was born on April 30, 1933, in Tiffin to Paul and Annabelle (McClure) Valentine. In 1948 she married LeRoy Renninger, they later divorced, and he died in 1992. On April 12, 1986, she married Nicholas A. Heil in Tiffin, and he died April 9, 2014.

Survivors include a son, David Renninger of Tiffin; three daughters, Kimberly (Stephen) Nedolast of Fostoria, Becky (Mike) Femeyer of Batesville, IN, Dana Bentz of Tiffin; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands; a son, Gary Renninger; and a brother, Ray Valentine; and three sisters, Catherine Maxwell, Anne Marie Kirchner, Carolyn Sharp.

Betty was a long-time employee of the Tiffin Bake Shop, a member of First Lutheran Church, the Eagles Auxiliary and the New Heart Club. 

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, December 29, 2024, at the TRAUNERO FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 214 S. Monroe Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883 (419) 447-3113. 

Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 30, 2024, at the funeral home with burial to follow in Pleasant View Primitive Baptist Cemetery, Melmore.

Memorial contributions may be made to Crippled Children’s Foundation, Stein Hospice, Humane Society of Seneca County, or Donor’s Choice.
