Bernice M. Meier, 79, of S. Sandusky Street, Tiffin, Ohio died Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at her residence.
Bernice was born June 22, 1931 to the late Doyle and Hortense (Zender) Carrick in New Riegel.
She is survived by one daughter, Lori Ann Myers of Sycamore; two grandchildren, Denielle Myers and Emily Myers; one great-grandson, Sebastian Fackler, the newest Love of her life; one brother, Jere (Mary) Carrick, of Lehigh Acres, Fla.; one sister, Barbara Paradiso, of Bowling Green; and her nieces and nephews, Anthony Paradiso, Timothy Paradiso, Daniel (Doni) Paradiso, and Amy Jo Paluch.
Bernice was a member of All Saints Parish, New Riegel. She was a former beautician having owned Beryl’s Beauty Bar for twenty years. She retired as the bartender of the family owned business, the Hardware Inn in Bascom, and was also co-owner of The Point Drive Thru. She enjoyed Bingo with her best-friend Jo, and her Saturday morning breakfasts with Marlene. A grateful thank you to Jeff Mundy and Mr. Fix-It, you were very special to her. Bernice’s whole life revolved around her family. She taught her family the importance of unconditional love of family. She will be deeply missed by family and friends.

Funeral Mass for Bernice will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, December 13, 2010 at St. Francis Home Chapel with the Rev. Frank Murd officiating.
