Bearl J. Perry, age 78 years old, died on Monday, March 5, 2001 at Tiffin Mercy Hospital. His parents were Noah and Millie Perry. He was raised by his father and his stepmother, Alpha Perry. He married Germaine A. Scherger on October 27, 1948 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin, Ohio. She survives.
Other survivors include 6 sons, Douglas Perry of Toledo, Ohio; James Perry, Mark Perry, Roger Perry, Jeffrey Perry and Anthony Perry all of Tiffin, Ohio; 7 daughters Mrs. James (Diane) Alley of Tiffin; Cheryl Caldwell of Tiffin, Mrs. Robert (Connie) Chech of Litchfield, Ohio; Mrs. Geiff (Mildred) Davenport of South Riding, Virginia; Mrs. Douglas (Linda) Kuhn of Tiffin; Mrs. James (Ellen) Beckley of Dryden, Michigan; Mrs. Stephen (Karen) Welter of Tiffin; 1 brother Luke Perry of Bloomville, Ohio; 2 sisters Mrs. Art (Clara) Minzer of Tiffin, and Mrs. Dee Jay (Dolores) Messersmeith of Anna, Ohio. He is prededed by one son, Michael Perry and a twin sister Pearl Perry.
Mr. Perry had worked at Webster Manufacturing, and he retired as a welder at Pettibone-Hanson Company. He was in WWII in the Army Air Corps. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, the American Legion and he was an avid fisherman.
