Avitus (Bea) Theresa Morrison, age 82, of St. Clair St., Tiffin, died at 12:05 am, Friday, February 2, 2007, at St. Francis Home, Tiffin.
She was born June 30, 1924, in Alvada, Ohio to the late Stephen and Theresa (Frederick) Coleman. On April 4, 1942, she married Marlyn E. Morrison, who died in 1992.
Surviving are two sons, Marlyn “Mike” (Sue) Morrison of Green Springs, Ohio; and Bruce Morrison of Spokane, Wash.; four daughters, Beverly Schetter of Tiffin, Daisy (Tim) Miller of Green Springs, Jackie Mathews of Delaware, Ohio, and Paulette Humbert of Tiffin; 16 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren; and a sister, Zita Wickiser of Arcadia, Ohio and a special friend, Joe Perna of Tiffin.
Mrs. Morrison is preceded in death by 4 sisters, Angeline Bentz, Viola Dickens, Ida Bentz, and Reike Wagner; 9 brothers, Clarence, Edmund, Floyd, Lawrence, Stephen (Bart), Bud (Francis), Billy, Kenny and Silverius Coleman
Mrs. Morrison had formerly worked at Big Lots of Tiffin.
Funeral services will be officiated by Rev. David Ross at 10 am Thursday, February 8, 2007 at Traunero Funeral Home, 214 S. Monroe Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883 (419) 447-3113. Burial will follow in Seneca Memory Gardens.
Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 pm Wednesday, February 7, 2007 at Traunero Funeral Home.
