Audrey Virginia (Neeley) Kummerer, age 93, formerly of North Township Road 165, died at 7:10 am, Thursday, February 19, 2009 at St. Francis Home.
Audrey was born on March 26, 1915 to the late Ezra and Edna (Fisher) Neeley. On June 24, 1939 in St. Joseph Catholic Church she married Joseph E. Kummerer. He died March 12, 1992.
Survivors include two sons, Jerry (Pat) Kummerer of Tiffin, Mark Kummerer of Portland, OR; two daughters, Ruth (Robert) Burns, of Senecaville, OH, Martha Kummerer of South Bend, IN; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Hazel Hull of Bettsville, Erma Kelley of Tuscaloosa, AL, and Wanda Bowman of Diamond Bar, CA.
She was preceded in death by a son, Bernard; a daughter, Maryanne; a brother, Scott Neeley; and an infant sister, Ruth Ellen Neeley.
Audrey was a 1933 Old Fort High School graduate. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Friends and family may call from 4-8 pm, today, Friday, February 20, 2009 at Traunero Funeral Home, 214 South Monroe Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-3113. A wake service will be held Friday evening.
Prayers will be said at 9:30 am, Saturday, February 21, 2009 at the funeral home followed by the funeral Mass at 10 am., at St. Joseph Catholic Church. The rosary will be recited 20 minutes prior to the Mass at the church. Burial will be immediately following in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
