Antoinette Marie Schostek, 87, of Tiffin, died at 5:03 a.m. Thursday, December 24, 2020, at St. Francis Home.
She was born August 23, 1933, in Tiffin, to Jake and Nellie (Santoro) Culichia. She married Joseph James Schostek June 19, 1954, in St. Mary Catholic Church. He died April 7, 1995.
Survivors include four daughters, Charlene Shugar of North Royalton, Linda (Anthony) Kacenjar of Sheffield Lake, Diane (Larry) Jacobs of Tiffin, and Lynette (Chris) Cameron of Tiffin; three grandchildren, Greg Phillips, Ryan Cameron, and Megan Cameron; four great-grandchildren, Keatyn, Wyatt, Parker and Grady Cameron a brother, Charles (Catherine) Culichia of Tiffin.; a sister, Joanna Buckley of Tiffin: and a sister-in-law, Geraldine Culichia of Tiffin.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son-in-law, Michael Shugar, a brother, Peter Culichia, and a brother-in-law, Joseph Buckley.
Mrs. Schostek was a 1951 graduate of Calvert High School and was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, and she enjoyed antiques, gardening, knitting, dolls, and quilting.
Private viewing will take place at Traunero Funeral Home and Crematory, 214 S. Monroe St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883 (419) 447-3113.
A private funeral Mass will be at St. Mary Catholic Church, with Rev. Matthew Rader officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
