Ann E. Bugert, age 95, of S. Sandusky St., Tiffin, Ohio, died at 9:40 pm Friday, December 25, 2009, at Autumnwood Care Center, Tiffin.
She was born May 3, 1914, in Peoria, Illinois, to the late Frank and Anna (Kunz) Patroff. She married Paul M. Bugert August 16, 1939, in Fort Wayne, Ind., and he preceded her in death in 1992.
Survivors include a son, Richard P. (Carol) Bugert of Ft. Mill, SC, one grandchild, and two great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank and John Patroff, four sisters, Mary Wells, Til Mulally, Rosemary Ricketts, and Betty Crammond, and a granddaughter, Jennifer Bugert.
Mrs. Bugert was a homemaker who worked at Calvert High School cafeteria from 1961 to 1966. She was a bloodmobile volunteer, promoter of Our Lady of Snow for 30 years, a promoter of St. Francis de Sales for 30 years, member of St. Mary Catholic Church and its Rosary Altar Society, the Legion of Mary, Daughters of Isabella, St. Francis Auxiliary, and the Ladies Catholic Benevolent Association.
There will be no visitation. Services will be 1:00 pm Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at St. Joseph Mausoleum with Rev. James Steinle officiating.
