Ann McCracken, 79, of Elizabeth Schafer Apts., 190 St. Francis Ave, Tiffin, Ohio died at 11:16 PM on Monday, August 15, 2005, at her residence.
She was born August 9, 1926, in Columbus, Ohio, to the late Ferdinand and Marie (Radcliffe) Zoppel. On September 13, 1947, in Columbus, Ohio, she married Richard McCracken.
She is survived by her husband, a son, Rick (Hydeh Ghaffari) McCracken, of Oakland, CA; three daughters, Susan (Tom) Bridge of Atlanta, GA; Nancy (Ron) Ruffing of Tiffin; Ohio, and Janet McCracken (Jeff Hayes) of State College, PA; 12 grandchildren, Craig (Angela), Laura, Christina, and Adam Bridge; Reika and Sheila McCracken; Katie, Emily and Megan Ruffing; Kyle, Casey and Joseph McCracken; and three great grandchildren, Carter, Ellie, and Meg Bridge.
A brother Richard Zoppel and a sister Nancy Zoppel preceded her in death.
Mrs. McCracken was a homemaker and a 1947 graduate of Ohio State University with a degree in Social Administration. She was a member of First Community Church in Columbus and a P.E.O. She was very active in her church and community.
A Memorial Service will be at 3 PM Saturday, August 20, 2005 at the St. Francis Home Chapel, 182 St. Francis Ave., Tiffin, Ohio. There will be no visitation.
