Jean Hardin Dixon, 83, died Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at Transylvania Regional Hospital.
A native of Transylvania County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Lovey Mae Harris Hardin. She was preceded in death by her son Carl Dixon who died in 2008.
Mrs. Dixon was a member of Pisgah Forest Baptist Church and Waitghtstill Avery Chapter NSDAR. She was also a registered nurse and a member of Silvermont Nutrition Site for many years.
Survivors include her daughter: Catherine Dixon of Missoula, Montana, two granddaughters: Christy Voso and husband Rick of Brevard, NC and Carleen Hanscom and husband Gordon of Pasco, WA., one great granddaughter: Charlie Voso and several nieces and nephews.
