Alice M. Seitz, age 77, of Tiffin, Ohio, died February 2, 2001, at Autumnwood Care Center, Tiffin. She was born May 22, 1923, in Akron, Ohio, to Elbert and Gertrude (Brittain) Myers. On January 26, 1946 in St. Mary Church, Tiffin, she married Walter E. Seitz, and he survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Diane Smith of Tiffin and Linda DeLong of San Diego, CA; a sister, Dorothy Ellis of Santa Ana, CA, and five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Mrs. Seitz retired from the Advertiser-Tribune as a clerk after 24 years of service. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin, and its Rosary Altar Society; she graduated from Tiffin Columbian High School and had attended Heidelberg College. Funeral Mass will be 11:00 am Monday, Feb. 5, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with burial to follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Hannay-Traunero Funeral Home.
