Alice M. Giovannini, age 90, of Tiffin, Ohio, died July 20, 2003. She was born July 4, 1913, in Bloomville, Ohio, to the late Leo and Daisy (Gernet) Hopple. On January 16, 1948, she married Emil Giovannini, who died in 1993. She is survived by a nephew, William H. Hopple II, a sister-in-law, Florence M. Hopple, and other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, H. Paul Hopple, who died in July of 1992, and Robert Hopple.
Mrs. Giovannini was a graduate of Fairview Park, Ohio, School of Nursing and retired in 1978 as a registered nurse at the Tiffin Developmental Center. She had also worked at Mercy Hospital of Tiffin, and the Cleveland Clinic. She was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church, Tiffin, and a lifetime member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, as well as a member of the Good Sams Camping Club.
Private services will be held, with burial in Seneca Memory Gardens, Tiffin. Memorials may be made to Ebenezer United Methodist Church, or to the Wyandot County Nursing Home.
