Alberta J. Fisher, 92, of Tiffin, Ohio died at 2:46am Tuesday, July 1, 2008 at St. Vincent/Mercy Medical Center in Toledo.
She was born to the late Nicholas and Mary (Kirian) Lucius on May 3, 1916 in Carey, Ohio. On June 18, 1936 in St. Mary Catholic Church, she married Edwin R. Fisher and he died on April 15, 1985.
Survivors include a son, Vern E. (Shirley) Fisher of Tiffin; two daughters, Carol (Robert) Mitten of Toledo, and Ancilla (Wade) Beamer of Attica; 20 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson; two brothers, Richard William Lucius of West Covina, CA, and Earl Lucius of Tiffin; and a sister, Rose Knowlton of Sandusky.
She is preceded in death by a daughter, Sylvia Neff; two sisters, Hilda Jordan and Ruth Eckert; a brother, Richard L. Lucius; and a great-grandson, Keegan Beamer.
Mrs. Fisher attended Calvert High School and retired from General Electric Company in Tiffin as a welder. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Tiffin and was a Gray Lady volunteer at Mercy Hospital.
