Agnes Gertrude Thomas, age 95, of Tiffin, Ohio, died June 8, 2003. She was born November 13, 1907, in Tiffin, to Rolland B. and Lovina (Harter) Thomas. Her mother died in 1949, and her father died in 1950. Miss Thomas is survived by three nephews, John, Robert, & James Thomas. She was preceded in death by two brothers, John Thomas in 1960 and Paul Thomas in 1990. Miss Thomas was a 1926 graduate of the Ursuline Academy and attended Tiffin University. She had worked as an assistant manager for the F.W. Woolworth Company. She later worked as a teller at First National Bank, and part-time at the Seneca County Treasurer's Office. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, its Rosary Altar Society, the Senior Citizens, St. Francis Auxiliary, the Legion of Mary, Poor Souls Society, and the Ursuline Academy Alumnae.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Francis Home, or to a charity of the donor's choice.
