Agnes Anna Zahn, age 95, formerly of SR 101, died at 5:42 AM, Wednesday November 12, 2008 at St. Francis Nursing Home of Tiffin.
Agnes was born June 3, 1913 in Tiffin, Ohio to the late Phillip and Mary (Ecker) Schenk. On July 18, 1935 she married Robert Charles Zahn and he died on February 18, 1999.
Survivors include two sons; Thomas (Mary Ellen) Zahn of Tiffin, and Michael Zahn of Brunswick, Ohio; one daughter, Christine (Michael) King of Inverness, Florida; eight grandchildren; and16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Charles, Phillip and Joseph Schenk; and three sisters, Helen Smith, Marie Hoover and Idella Green.
In 1931, Agnes graduated from Columbian High School. She retired from St. Mary’s School Cafeteria, she also worked at Starr Dry Cleaning which she owned with her husband. Agnes was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

The Funeral Mass will be officiated by the Rev. Joseph Szybka at 10 AM, Saturday, November 15, 2008 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. The rosary will be recited 15 minutes prior to the Mass. Burial will take place immediately following at the St. Joseph Cemetery.
