Ada was born April 28, 1923 in Tiffin to Thornton and Pearl (Alford) Jacoby. She married Carl E. Lampe March 23, 1941 in Wauseon, Ohio. He died March 29, 2012.
Survivors include three daughters, Janice (James) Betz of Tiffin, Carla (Tony) Rupp of Archbold, Cynthia (Tom) Mowery of Marietta, GA; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; three sisters, Marjorie Smith, Thelma Terry, Joan Martin all of Tiffin.
She was preceded in death by a son, Dennis E. Lampe; a daughter, Donna Kay Ott; five brothers, Robert, Frank, Gilbert, Lloyd and Russell Jacoby; three sisters, Edna Keckler, Helen Misner and Betty Klipping.
Ada was a 1941 Columbian graduate, a homemaker and a sales clerk at Ricker's Grocery for ten years, she retired in 1985.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon, Saturday, February 15, 2014. The Funeral Service will take place at 12:00 Noon all at the Traunero Funeral Home and Crematory, 214 S. Monroe Street, Tiffin, OH 44883, 419-447-3113 with Chaplain Barry Belknap, officiating. Burial will take place immediately following the service at Fairmont Cemetery, Tiffin.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Home in care of the funeral home.
